This communiqué provides an update regarding the temporary border measures introduced in response to the Ebola disease outbreak.
On August 28, 2026, the Government of Canada announced that it was extending the existing temporary border measures for another 30 days in response to the Ebola disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The temporary border measures are now in place until September 28, 2026.
