On Saturday, January 10, 2026, the InfoTET Québec team participated in the New Year celebration organized for Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) by Services de Main-d’œuvre L’Appui in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, QC.
The event brought together approximately 30 workers from various countries, including Guatemala, Mexico, Cameroon, Congo, and Colombia. This cultural diversity allowed for enriching exchanges and meaningful connections, providing an opportunity to better understand the realities and challenges of each region.
The evening began with a welcome message, followed by a friendly gathering with snacks and drinks, giving participants a chance to socialize and relax. The night continued with recreational games such as bowling, billiards, basketball, and foosball, creating a warm, fun, and family-friendly atmosphere, perfect for breaking the ice, building connections, and meeting new people in the area.
Thanks to the generosity of event partners, gifts were distributed to families, bringing joy to both adults and children. The participation of Rémi Dussault and Patrick Reduron from Services de Main-d’œuvre L’Appui was key to the successful organization and smooth running of the event.
Additionally, our regional coordinator, Jonathan Buitrago, took the opportunity to introduce the InfoTET Québec program to the TFWs and distribute the new edition of the information guide for TFWs. This direct interaction allowed us to answer questions, hear experiences, and better understand the needs of Temporary Foreign Workers, reinforcing our mission to support them and provide useful tools for their journey in Quebec.
At InfoTET of Immigrant Québec, we believe that events like this are essential for strengthening inclusion, empowering TFWs, and promoting their overall well-being in the province. We will continue to support initiatives that foster information, training, and effective integration for those who contribute to the development of Quebec.
