Quarterly InfoTET Québec Meeting – A Collective Mobilization in the Heart of Québec City

On December 3 and 4, Immigrant Québec and the InfoTET Québec team successfully held their quarterly meeting in Québec City, an important moment of the year dedicated to strengthening collaboration among the stakeholders who support temporary foreign workers (TFWs) throughout the province.

A friendly 5-to-7 to kick off the exchanges

On the eve of the official meeting, December 3, an informal 5-to-7 event brought together several members of PSTM partner organizations. Participants had the opportunity to network, exchange on their respective realities, and better understand the missions of each of the organizations involved. This warm moment helped create a climate of trust and openness that enriched the discussions on the following day.

A day of reflection, learning, and collaboration

The December 4 meeting brought together representatives of community organizations, public institutions, and specialized services. Thanks to the active participation of everyone, meaningful exchanges took place, strengthening partnerships and encouraging collective reflection on new ways to support TFWs throughout their journey in Québec.

Immigrant Québec and the InfoTET Québec team would like to express their deep gratitude to everyone who attended these two days. We especially thank the organizations that facilitated workshops and offered presentations: Fédération de l’UPA de la Montérégie, CNESST, La Mosaïque interculturelle, CAVAS – Centre d’aide pour victimes d’agression sexuelle, AIDE – Actions interculturelles de développement et d’éducation, Accès Travail Portneuf and CAFLA, MRC Montmagny, as well as the InfoTET Québec team. Their expertise, commitment, and generosity greatly contributed to the success of this meeting.

Let’s continue working together to strengthen support for TFWs

These meetings remain essential for improving the support provided to TFWs: access to reliable information, psychosocial support, health, housing, integration, and much more. Through networking and strong cross-sector collaboration, it becomes possible to offer services that are more human, more tailored, and more effective. Thank you for being active partners in this program, which, with empathy and determination, supports TFWs throughout their journey in Québec.
