On November 21, ABL Immigration, led by Marjorie Régimbeau, offered a unique experience to about thirty Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) at the Centre d’Excellence Sports Rousseau in Boisbriand. The activity provided a moment of relaxation, connection, and discovery centered around a Québec classic: a hockey game featuring the Armada, who faced off that evening against the Shawinigan Cataractes.
For many of the TFWs it was their first time experiencing ice hockey — a strong symbol of Québec’s sports culture. Between cheers, shared emotions, and applause, the evening created opportunities to build bonds, share joyful moments, and offer a welcome break in their integration journey.
Nicolas Bellier, Project Director at InfoTET with Immigrant Québec, attended the event to acknowledge the initiative and highlight its importance. He emphasized that activities like this not only encourage the discovery of local culture but also strengthen the well-being and sense of belonging of TFWs in Québec.
Thanks to the dynamic vision of Marjorie Régimbeau and the commitment of the ABL Immigration team, this sports outing became a memorable moment for all participants, underscoring the importance of creating spaces for connection, leisure, and learning within the TET community.
InfoTET reaffirms its commitment to supporting and accompanying Temporary Foreign Workers by fostering their integration, well-being, and connection to Québec’s culture and community life.
