To find out if you can enter Canada before then,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/wizard-start\">answer a few questions<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On this page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/visitors-workers-students#workers\">Foreign workers: Travel restrictions and exemptions<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/visitors-workers-students#students\">International students: Travel restrictions and exemptions<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"workers\">Foreign workers: Travel restrictions and exemptions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">As a foreign worker, you must&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada#determine-fully\">qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller<\/a>&nbsp;to enter Canada, unless you have a job in 1 of the following categories:Agricultural or food processing workerMarine crew memberMake medical deliveriesWork with medical equipment or devices<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"family\">If your immediate family members need to come to Canada<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">If your family members are&nbsp;<strong>18 years of age or older<\/strong>, they must qualify as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada#determine-fully\">fully vaccinated travellers<\/a>&nbsp;to join or visit you in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">If they\u2019re&nbsp;<strong>under the age of 18<\/strong>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/wizard-start\">answer a few questions<\/a>&nbsp;to find out if they can visit or join you in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you travel to Canada<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">All travellers entering Canada must follow testing and quarantine requirements to keep everyone safe. Under certain conditions, you may be exempt from some of these requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/exemptions\">Find out if you\u2019re exempt from any testing and quarantine requirements<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you haven\u2019t applied for a work permit yet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Due to COVID-19, we can\u2019t provide accurate processing times. There are also special instructions for priority processing for some workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/canada-preview.adobecqms.net\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/services\/coronavirus-covid19\/foreign-workers.html#not-applied\">How COVID-19 has affected the application process<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"canada\">Temporary workers already in Canada<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">COVID-19 has changed how to apply for a work permit and how we\u2019ll process your application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/services\/coronavirus-covid19\/foreign-workers.html#canada\">Find out how COVID-19 changes affect foreign workers in Canada<\/a>Agricultural, agri-food and seafood employers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"students\">International students: Travel restrictions and exemptions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">To be able to enter Canada as a student, you must meet 3 requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-list\"><li>You must&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada\">qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller<\/a>&nbsp;unless you\u2019re a minor student (under the age of 18 years).<\/li><li>You must have a valid study permit or a letter of introduction that shows you were approved for a study permit,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/services\/study-canada\/study-permit\/study-permit-tool.html\">unless you don\u2019t need one<\/a>.<\/li><li>You must be attending a designated learning institution (DLI).<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Even if you&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada\">qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller<\/a>, you must have a 14-day quarantine plan in place before arriving in Canada.
