On the occasion of <\/span>Mother\u2019s Day,<\/b> InfoTET<\/b><\/a> from <\/span>Immigrant Qu\u00e9bec<\/b><\/a> wishes to pay tribute to <\/span>temporary foreign worker mothers<\/b> who contribute every day to the development of Quebec through their work, strength, and resilience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Behind every work permit, every arrival in a new region, and every employment contract, there is above all a deeply human story. For many women, the migration journey is closely connected to their role as mothers. Leaving their home country to work abroad is often a difficult decision, made with the hope of providing a better future for their children and families.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Many mothers arrive in Canada alone, leaving behind their children, parents, and loved ones. They experience motherhood from a distance, sometimes for months or even years. Despite the distance, they continue to be present in other ways: through phone calls, messages, financial support, and constant efforts to remain emotionally close to their families. Other women experience motherhood directly in Quebec while simultaneously facing the challenges of raising children, adapting to a new society, and meeting the demands of their jobs. For them, each day involves finding a balance between work, family, and the integration process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Temporary foreign worker mothers are present in many sectors essential to Quebec society: agriculture, food processing, caregiving, hospitality, restaurants, manufacturing, and many others. Their work supports key sectors of the economy and contributes to the well-being of thousands of people.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Being both a mother and a temporary foreign worker often means living with constant concerns: separation from children, financial stability, permit renewals, language barriers, isolation, and difficulties accessing information and resources. Despite these challenges, many continue moving forward with remarkable resilience and inner strength.<\/span><\/p>\n

At <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a>, we believe it is essential to recognize not only their economic and social contribution, but also their human reality. Speaking about temporary foreign worker mothers means speaking about women who build bridges between countries, cultures, and families.
