On March 22, 2026, a cultural activity took place at a cabane \u00e0 sucre in Mont-Saint-Gr\u00e9goire, organized by the organization <\/span>L\u2019ANCRE<\/b><\/a>. The event was held at \u00c9rabli\u00e8re au Palais Sucr\u00e9, offering participants an authentic experience centered around one of Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s most iconic traditions.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) from Honduras, Colombia, and Guatemala participated in this activity, which took place in a warm, welcoming, and culturally engaging atmosphere. For many, it was a unique opportunity to discover local customs and experience the \u201csugar season\u201d firsthand. Throughout the day, participants enjoyed a traditional Qu\u00e9bec meal and outdoor activities that encouraged social interaction and strengthened connections among attendees. These types of experiences not only allow participants to explore local culture but also create spaces for connection and well-being outside of the workplace.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

As part of the activity, Jonathan Buitrago, Regional Coordinator of <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a> at <\/span>Immigrant Qu\u00e9bec<\/b><\/a>, presented the <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a> Qu\u00e9bec program and distributed the informational guide for TFWs. This resource provides practical tools on workers\u2019 rights and obligations, as well as key information about services and resources available across the province. The interaction with participants was especially enriching, making it possible to answer questions, identify needs, and reinforce <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a>\u2019s mission: to provide clear, accessible, and useful information to support Temporary Foreign Workers throughout their stay in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/span><\/p>\n

From <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a>\u2019s perspective at <\/span>Immigrant Qu\u00e9bec<\/b><\/a>, this type of initiative plays a key role in promoting social integration, well-being, and access to essential information for TFWs. Activities like this help create meaningful spaces for connection, learning, and support, which are fundamental to the migration experience.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
