On March 17, as part of its mission to share information, <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a> by <\/b>Immigrant Qu\u00e9bec<\/b><\/a> had the pleasure, in collaboration with the teams from <\/span>L\u2019Ancre<\/b><\/a> and <\/span>Desjardins<\/b><\/a>, of visiting the Adult Education Center <\/span>La Relance<\/b> in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Following our first visit to Marieville, we received a warm welcome at their Saint-Jean location to meet participants attending evening French classes and to present the <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a> Qu\u00e9bec<\/b> program.<\/span><\/p>\n

La Relance<\/b> plays a key role in supporting adults, including many temporary foreign workers (TFWs), in improving their French. Despite often long and demanding workdays, participants demonstrate remarkable motivation and commitment. Learning French is an essential tool\u2014not only for better integration into Quebec society, but also for accessing professional and community opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

During our visit, we had the opportunity to move from classroom to classroom, meet TFWs from Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala, Haiti, Cuba, and Brazil, and present the services offered by <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a>, <\/span>L\u2019Ancre<\/b><\/a>, and <\/span>Desjardins<\/b><\/a>. These exchanges created a space for participants to ask questions, share personal experiences, and better understand the resources available to support them during their time in Quebec.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the activity, <\/span>Jonathan Buitrago<\/b>, Regional Coordinator of <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a> by <\/b>Immigrant Qu\u00e9bec<\/b><\/a>, took the opportunity to present the <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a> Qu\u00e9bec<\/b> program and distribute the <\/span>information guide for TFWs<\/b>. This guide provides practical tools on workers\u2019 rights and responsibilities, as well as information on available services and resources across the province. The discussions were highly enriching, allowing us to answer questions, listen to participants\u2019 experiences, and better understand their needs\u2014reinforcing <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a>\u2019s mission to provide clear and useful information throughout their stay in Quebec.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
