On Saturday, March 14, 2026, Temporary Foreign Workers (TET) had the opportunity to participate in the <\/span>\u201cAllons \u00e0 la cabane!\u201d<\/b> activity, a traditional sugar shack lunch organized by <\/span>Granby Industriel<\/b> at \u00c9rabli\u00e8re Martin in Sainte-C\u00e9cile-de-Milton. The TET enjoyed an afternoon of sharing, learning, and exploring Quebec culinary traditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participants, mostly from Cameroon but also from Colombia and Mexico, were able to taste typical dishes such as baked beans and eggs with maple syrup. For many, this was a completely new and surprising experience, yet all showed curiosity and openness in discovering these local specialties.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

During the activity, <\/span>Jonathan Buitrago<\/b>, regional coordinator of <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a> from <\/b>Immigrant Qu\u00e9bec<\/b><\/a>, took the opportunity to present the <\/span>InfoTET<\/b><\/a> Qu\u00e9bec<\/b> program and distribute the informational guide for TET. This guide provides practical tools regarding rights, responsibilities, and available resources. The exchange allowed participants to ask questions, share personal experiences, and better understand the needs of workers, reinforcing <\/span>InfoTET\u2019s<\/b><\/a> mission to provide clear and useful information during their stay in the province.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
