As International Women\u2019s Day approaches on <\/span>March 8,<\/b>\u00a0 <\/span>InfoTET d\u2019Immigrant Quebec<\/b><\/a> wishes to highlight the essential role of <\/span>temporary foreign women workers<\/b> (TET),<\/strong> who contribute significantly to the Canadian economy and the well-being of many communities across the country. Their work, often discreet and not highly visible, supports key sectors and ensures the continuity of essential services for Canadian society.<\/span><\/p>\n

These women, coming from different countries and holding temporary work permits, frequently hold essential jobs in sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, hospitality, and domestic services. Their work requires not only professional and technical skills but also great resilience in the face of unique challenges: being away from their families, adapting to a new cultural and social environment, navigating language barriers, and, in some cases, dealing with uncertainty regarding their immigration status.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the\u00a0 <\/span>InfoTET d\u2019Immigrant Quebec<\/b><\/a>, we have the opportunity to witness their <\/span>daily commitment, dedication, and perseverance<\/b>. Each journey, effort, and achievement reflects the strength, courage, and determination of these women, who, although often underrepresented in public discussions, play an indispensable role in the functioning of strategic sectors of the economy and in the daily lives of many communities in Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
