On this date, <\/span><b>Cecilia Escamilla<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, founder of the organization, stepped down after a trajectory marked by exemplary commitment and a meaningful contribution to the community, leaving strong foundations for the future. <\/span><b>Naomy Rendon<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> assumed the role of Executive Director, bringing renewed energy and ensuring continuity in the work accomplished. An essential part of this work is collaborating with community partners who provide specialized services tailored to the needs of TFWs. One of our key partners in this effort is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cafla.ca\/\"><b>CAFLA<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and its <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cafla.ca\/programme\/travailleurs-etrangers-temporaires-ptet-cafla\/\"><b>Temporary Migrant Workers Support Program (PTET\u2011CAFLA)<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cafla.ca\/programme\/travailleurs-etrangers-temporaires-ptet-cafla\/\"><b>Temporary Migrant Workers Support Program (PTET\u2011CAFLA)<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is specifically designed for Temporary Foreign Workers holding a <\/span><b>closed work permit in Quebec<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Its main objective is to ensure that TFWs have access to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Information on <\/span><b>physical and mental health services\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Psychosocial support<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Workplace safety training<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Dialogue spaces for well-being<\/b><\/li>\n<li><strong>A <\/strong><b>\u00a0health helpline available in Spanish<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>This program was created to <\/span><b>promote the overall health of TFWs<\/b><span>, support them in daily challenges, and facilitate their integration into the Quebec community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cafla.ca\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CAFLA<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> understands that working far from family in a new and often demanding environment can present challenges not only physically but also emotionally. That is why <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cafla.ca\/programme\/travailleurs-etrangers-temporaires-ptet-cafla\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PTET\u2011CAFLA<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> provides:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Access to health information in Spanish<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, both in-person and online<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Awareness and prevention materials<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on workplace risks and general health<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Individual and group psychosocial support<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Active listening and emotional support<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, even in situations of stress or isolation<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Their motto, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cGood health, well informed\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, emphasizes the importance for workers not only to know their rights but also to have resources that <\/span><b>protect and strengthen their well-being<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> during their stay in Quebec.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section
