Support, Resources, and Integration for Temporary Foreign Workers in Qu\u00e9bec<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Montreal, October 29\u201330, 2025 \u2014<\/strong> During the Fall 2025 edition of the Salon de l\u2019immigration et de l\u2019int\u00e9gration au Qu\u00e9bec (SIIQ)<\/em>, the Migrant Workers Support Program (PSTM) \u2014 funded by the Government of Canada and coordinated by Immigrant Qu\u00e9bec \u2014 once again provided temporary foreign workers (TFWs) with a dedicated space for resources and connection.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

For this edition, 28 booths<\/strong> were set up to allow the various participating organizations to showcase their services and initiatives from across the province. These local organizations offer comprehensive support to TFWs, promoting their social and professional integration as well as their access to essential information.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

During the two days of the fair, temporary foreign workers (TFWs) had the opportunity to meet directly with representatives, ask questions, and receive advice tailored to their individual situations. Interactive workshops, led by the consulates of Mexico, Colombia, El Salvador, and Guatemala, as well as by Justice Pro Bono, enriched the experience by providing practical information on administrative procedures, consular protection, and, above all, on the rights and obligations of temporary foreign workers.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The presence of these partners and the meaningful exchanges throughout the event highlighted the importance of the Migrant Workers Support Program (PSTM) as a key tool in supporting the integration of temporary foreign workers in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A multilingual informational guide (French, English, Spanish, and Tagalog) was distributed, giving temporary foreign workers (TFWs) easy access to information about their rights, available services, and working conditions, thereby reinforcing the program\u2019s inclusive and human-centered approach.<\/p>\n
