On October 11<\/strong>, around sixty temporary foreign workers (TFWs)<\/strong> came together for an exceptional fall day at Mont Gleason<\/strong> \u2014 an activity organized to promote connection<\/strong>, relaxation<\/strong>, and well-being<\/strong> for those who contribute to our region.<\/p>\n

These workers come from diverse backgrounds \u2014 Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Cameroon, and Mauritius<\/strong> \u2014 and are active in several key sectors of the local economy, such as industrial production, hospitality, and the wood industry<\/strong>. Their daily contributions are essential, and this day was the perfect opportunity to thank them and strengthen our connection.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The outing began in Victoriaville<\/strong>, where participants boarded a bus<\/strong> to head to Mont Gleason. Once there, everyone took the chairlift<\/strong> to reach the summit of the mountain. At the top, a well-deserved moment of rest allowed everyone to enjoy a spectacular view<\/strong> of Quebec\u2019s colorful fall landscapes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It was also an opportunity to distribute the new edition of the informational guide for TFWs<\/strong>, handed out by Jonathan Buitrago<\/strong>, Regional Coordinator of infoTET Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong>. This direct exchange created a space to answer their questions, listen to their experiences, and better understand their needs.
These warm interactions<\/strong> are at the heart of our mission: to better support and equip temporary foreign workers throughout their journey in Quebec<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The descent down the mountain<\/strong> was done on foot, in a friendly atmosphere<\/strong>, surrounded by vibrant leaves and shared smiles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
