On July 19th, Bellevue Park in Victoriaville was transformed into a true cultural crossroads during a summer gathering dedicated to temporary foreign workers (TFWs). Organized by Destination Entreprise, the event brought together around one hundred participants from Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the Indian Ocean, all united under bright sunshine to share a moment of conviviality, relaxation, and recognition.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In a warm and festive atmosphere, the TFWs enjoyed numerous sports and recreational activities: bean bag games, soccer matches, and other entertainment punctuated the day, fostering intercultural exchanges. Laughter, music, languages, and traditions blended together to create an unforgettable ambiance.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Viviana Sanchez, Senior Advisor at Destination Entreprise, accompanied by a team of dedicated volunteers, ensured flawless organization. On the food front, the menu reflected the diversity of the guests\u2019 origins: hot dogs, empanadas, chips, cakes, juices, and soft drinks delighted the taste buds.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Beyond the festivities, the event also served as an information and resource hub. Nicolas Bellier<\/strong>, Project Director for InfoTET<\/strong> at Immigrant Quebec, was on-site to present support services for TFWs. He took the opportunity to distribute practical guides and answer participants\u2019 questions.<\/p>\n
