Make report about abuse to Service Canada<\/h4>\n<ul class=\"list-unstyled lst-spcd\">\n<li>If you are a worker or a member of the public, make a report about abuse:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/employment-social-development\/services\/foreign-workers\/report-abuse\/tool.html\">https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/employment-social-development\/services\/foreign-workers\/report-abuse\/tool.html<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All workers in Canada are protected under Canadian law.<\/p>\n<p>Canada takes the abuse of temporary foreign workers (TFW) or the TFW program very seriously. Employers who abuse workers or the program could face a penalty or be banned from the program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anyone can report abuse, including:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the worker<\/li>\n<li>a colleague<\/li>\n<li>the employer<\/li>\n<li>a member of the public<\/li>\n<li>A foreign consulate<\/li>\n<li>An advocacy group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Type of abuse you can report<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Someone is threatening, bullying, or abusing you<\/li>\n<li>Someone is threatening your status in Canada<\/li>\n<li>You are not allowed to leave your work site or where you live<\/li>\n<li>Someone is keeping your passport or documents from you<\/li>\n<li>You are not receiving your correct pay or time off<\/li>\n<li>You are doing a different job than what you agreed to or what the LMIA says<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<section><strong>Things to know when making a report<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is important that you tell us as much information as you can<\/li>\n<li>The information you tell us is protected by Canada\u2019s privacy laws<\/li>\n<li>We will never tell your employer or anyone at your workplace who made the report<\/li>\n<li>You <strong>do not<\/strong> have to give your name, phone number, or LMIA\/work permit number to make a report, but these would help us in case we need more information<\/li>\n<li>We will not contact you or share your information without your permission<\/li>\n<li>For <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/employment-social-development\/services\/foreign-workers\/report-abuse\/review-privacy.html\">privacy reasons<\/a>, <strong>we cannot tell you<\/strong> about the
